Sid Helmus, a licensed master plumber, started Helmus Plumbing Services Inc. (HPSI) in 1988 and incorporated his business in 1993 to better serve the West Michigan area. In 2004, HPSI opened a branch in Grand Rapids where Sid was born and raised in a family of plumbing contractors who have been leaders in Michigan’s plumbing industry since the early 1900’s. Sid is a third generation plumber who has over thirty years of experience in residential and commercial plumbing and hot water heating. Currently, our experienced staff includes 5 licensed master plumbers, a mechanical license, a boilers license, and 3 people who are certified to test backflow preventers. | |
